KILMORE, CO DOWN

The SHARMAN-CRAWFORD family had a family vault at this little Church in Kilmore. It was built by the family in 1792 and later dismantled, stone by stone and re-erected over a period of seven years as an exhibit at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Cultra Manor, Holywood, Co Down, aptly the old ancestral home of the KENNEDY family, of whom William SHARMAN-CRAWFORD's mother-in-law, Maria was one.

The following are two of the gravestone inscriptions taken from "Gravestone Inscriptions", Vol3:Co Down (published 1969) and supplied to me by Mr Randall Gill, a museum curator at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.
