SHARMAN William
Born circa 1730 Died 21st January 1803

William SHARMAN of Moira Castle Co Down, (barrister-at-law and sometime MP for Lisburn; Officer Commanding, Union Regiment of Volunteers) married 1772, Arminella WILLSON daughter of Hill WILLSON of Purdysburn Co Down.

He was a Colonel in the Union Regiment of Volunteers and he succeeded his Uncle William, inheriting properties in Co. Down and Co. Meath.

There was a portrait of this man in Crawfordsburn House, but its present whereabouts is unknown.

William was buried at Drumbeg, Co Down by his wife Arminella.
