CODDINGTON Henry Barry
Born 22 May 1802 Died 23 Mar 1888, aged 85

Henry Barry CODDINGTON, was second son and heir to his father Nicholas CODDINGTON, as the result of the death, of his unmarried elder brother, John in 1822. His mother was Letitia BARRY, of Bean Co Meath.

On 26 September 1827 at Bangor, aged 26, he married Maria, the eldest of William and Mabel SHARMAN-CRAWFORD's children and she bore him six sons and three daughters. Henry Barry of Oldbridge Co Meath was a J.P. for Co Meath, High Sheriff in 1843 and educated at Trinity College Dublin and St Johns College Cambridge. He got his B.A. in 1824.

He died at Oldbridge and was buried at Dunleer, Co Louth on 27 March 1888.

His will with codicil was proved in the Principal Registry Dublin (223 88) on 5 June 1888 by his eldest son John Nicholas CODDINGTON who was one of the Exors.
