Terence SHARMAN-CRAWFORD, (2nd Lt. 15th Hussars) born at Crawfordsburn, baptised 20 Oct 1892 at Bangor, Co Down, only son of Robert Gordon SHARMAN-CRAWFORD, was killed in an motor accident just before the start of World War I at Aldershot. (ref Daily Mail 20 Sept 1941) The estate of his father consequently passed to his nephew, Robert Hugh (Carver) SHARMAN-CRAWFORD, who changed his name to inherit.
